About History Department

History Department was initiated in the year 1990 and ever since we have been producing students who specialize in this subject.

Importance or Significance of History: History is one of the important facets of humanity for understanding our past like culture, tradition, civilization, and nation-building. the different aspects of various "isms" for instance nationalism, colonialism, imperialism, and republicanism. sociologism, etc. History is also essential to understand the various concepts of monarchy, feudalism, and Capitalism.

Students should be aware of the History not only of their nation but also of their immediate neighbor as well as the whole world. History as a subject gives a clear picture of all these concepts in their entirety knowledge of History gives a sense of pride and prestige among the students about the country of our glorious past.

Through the knowledge of various branches of science and humanities. Which includes anatomy. Anthropology, Archaeology. Through these various facets, students can learn about human life human society, and their socioeconomic situation which existed millions of years ago.

In our college, the department began in a small way with few students and with a handful of well-qualified teachers.
