Library Information
Library is the heart of every academic institution. Library is the backbone of academics and share the knowledge
to its clientele. From 2004-05, the library register is maintained in Excel from 207-18 our college library partially
automated and using SLIM software V.9.4 bullion for automation. Our library done Accession and still the work is going on.
Library department arranged so many activities for the
users and celebrates various days so it’s a one kind of inspiration and students get information of particular day.
Day and Events :-
1. Dr. Abasaheb Shinde Birth Anniversary as a Book Exhibiition– Founder member and 1st Principal – 28th Aug.
2. Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam’s Birth Anniversary as a ‘Vachan Prerana Din’ ,organized guest leclture or guiding lecture
or even various competitions as a ‘Rangoli competition’, ‘Poster Presentation’- 15th Oct..
3. Organised ‘Vachan Katta’ to inspire the students who have stage fear and feel hesitate to speak in
English language, it’s a good platform for the students to habitual for speaking and there is no barriers to speak in any language-
4. Mobile library is starting from 2017 to the students cause the decrease in the footfalls of, the librarian and
attendant come to the every class with trolley included 50-60 books which are Marathi, Hindi, English biographies, comedy books, best seller books and informative books.
5. Celebrates ‘Marathi Bhasha Din’-27th Feb. arranged guest lectures or competitions like ‘Poetry recitation’
‘Marathi Hastakshar Spardha’,’Katha kathan’ and many more. many times this day is celebrated as a ‘vachan katta’.
Library always helps the students and share the various resources which are available in the library and signed ‘Memorandum of Understanding’ which emphasis
on the resource sharing, through this books and other resources are shared , the College librarians are helps each other for arranging lectures and guided the students.
Library has insurance from 2021-22 and has Fire Extinguisher for security of Library.
Library is also maintain the cleanliness and paste control for bugs and termites.
From 2021-22 & onwards Library subscribed Magzter Gold+ as well as Story tell app.
