  • • The staff common room meeting is held today in the college at 11 a.m. in the library.
  • • The meeting began with read ins of minutes of last term end meeting & confirmation of minutes by Principal Dr. P.R. Shewale sir.
  • • President, principal & edition board of the college inaugurated college magazine for 2017-18 (collage magazine Saraswati).

  • • The CMA awareness programme was organized today In the college in association with Kolhapur chapter of CMA.
  • • Prof. Gangadhar Patil introduced speaker & gave introductory speech.
  • • CMA Lakadawala Kolhapur chapter gave detailed information on CMA course & practical significance of course.
  • • Prof. A.B. Kawade coordinator CMA course also explained career opportunities in CMA & about preparation for this examination.

  • • The department of NSS, NCC & sport organized jointly international Yoga day today in the college.

  • • The department of History celebrated 145th Birth Anniversary of Chh. Shahu Maharaj as a Social Justice Day in the collage.
  • • The programme begin with garlanding photograph of Chh. Shahu in the hands of president Shri. C.A. Shinde, Principal Dr. P.R. Shewale, Dr. V.S. Powar.
  • • Prof. Vaishali Sharang co-ordinator of thelecture gave introductory speech on the Chh. Shahu Maharaj.

  • • The programme begin with introduction with Prof. B.N. Desai election officer in the college.

  • • Under A.B. Shinde Competitive Academy a lecture was organized today in the college at 8 a.m.
  • • Mr. Shivajirao Nimat director, Vidyaniketan competitive Academy delivered lecture on “Introduction to Competitive Examination.
  • • Dr. Rahul Mane Co-ordinator of Competitive in the college introduced guest speaker & also gave brief introduction Importance of competitive Exam.
  • • The lecture was attended by 2nd& 3rd year B.A. & B.Com. Student.

  • Tree Plantation Drive
  • • College organized Tree Plantation Drive at soantali, today at 10 a.m.
  • • NSS wing of the college made arrangement of tree plantation including purchase of sapling, equipment’s, digging of trenches, equipment’s needed for watering of saplings.
  • • NSS volunteers actively participated in Tree Plantation.
  • • NSS programme officer sent necessary information regarding Plantation (13 Corer’s) online as well as hard copy to Govt. of Maharashtra & University.
  • • On this occasion, Principal, President, Members of the NSS wing, Members of the faculty & students participated in the drive.

  • • All NSS volunteer undertake cleanliness of college premises central portion of Bhavni Mandap old Palace & Administrative buildings & Jotiba road from 7.30 am to 10.00 am.
  • • The activity was initiated with students rally to create awareness on Swachhata.
  • • After completing swachhata work all volunteers along with prof. Vijay kambale Programme officer cleaned statue of sant Gadagebaba & put garland over statue.

  • • A programme named as “Know Your Armed Forces” during this event the families of martyr Solders were honored their sacrifices.

  • • NSS wing of the college actively participated in the programme titled ‘E Waste management Awareness’ organized by Rotery Club of Kolhapur, on the occasion of Birth Anniversary Sant Gadagebaba pioneer of Swachhata abhiyan.
  • • On this occasion the statue of sanr Gadage Maharaj was garlanded by mare of Kolhapur city. Mrs. Sarita More & other cooperators.
  • • The chef of Rotry Club Kolhapur Mr. S. Patil spoke on ‘ Need of E-waste management’ also he suggested to the attendees cause the connection of waste & its proper disposal.

  • • The programme begin with welcomeing guest speaker Dr. Haribhau Vanmore, by President and Principal giving book written by Dr. A. B. Shinde.
  • • Prof. Swati Mane of dept. of English introduced guest speaker.
  • • Dr. Haribhau Vanmore Delivered speech of superstitions of the society, in is one & half of our speech he took brief review of history & present religious practices. He appealed all student of department rationality & scientific thinking.

  • • The price distribution and facility of scollar function was held in the college today at 11 am.
  • • Dr. V.M.Kanade , controller of examination and exaltation was chief guest of the function.
  • • The function begin with prayer and welcoming guest by president and Principle Sir, by offering book written by Dr. A.B. Shinde.
  • • Merit holders and winners of various games and achieve in the previous year are felicitated in the hands of Chief Guest by giving certificate and momento.

  • • On the occasion of democracy fourth Night College has organized an essay and painting competition at 9 am.
  • • 20 students participated in essay writing compition and 8th student participated in the painting competition.
  • • First three winners of Essay and Painting competition will be felicitated by KMC College, Kolhapur.

  • • An inter collegiate general studies mock test is organize today in the college.
  • • Dr. Abasaheb Shinde competitive guidance center has organized this test.
  • • Test carried SD questions each carried 2 mock. i.e.
  • • Total mock questions paper (with negative marks).
  • • 35 students from different colleges in the city participated in the examination.
  • • The winner of this test will be facilated in the Socretic Club on Saturday, Feb 9, 2019.

  • • Observance of silence in memory of the Martyr of Indian freedom struggle.
  • • NSS wing of the college observed this particular date today in the college.
  • • Programme officer Prof. Vijay Kamble delivered a speech on “The Contribution of Freedom Fighter and their Sacrifices”.
  • • Prof. Swati Mane give welcome speech and Prof, Vaishali Sarang extended vote of thanks.

  • • A Quiz competition was organised today in the college at 3.30 pm. The competition was based on News Paper ’The Hindu’ school edition.
  • • Students were asked to read the ‘The Hindu’ for one month and on basis of which questions were drawn from daily news paper ‘The Hindu’.
  • • 52 students from both section and Junior wing to part in the quiz competition. There were 50 question of MCQC, each questions carries to marks.
  • • The winner of this competition will be felisited next year in the prise distribution function.

  • • On the occasion of conversation ceremony of Shivaji University Kolhapur. NSS wing of the college participated in ‘Granth Dindi’ organized by Shivaji University Kolhapur.
  • • Rally started from Kamala College(Rajarampuri 1st lane) and reached University campus.
  • • NSS and NCC wing participated in the rally.
  • • Granth Dindi was attended by students from different colleges.
  • • Granth Dindi attended attempt of people from all walk of life.

  • • MARATHI RAJBHASHA DIN was celebrated today in the college. This day is also Birth Anniversary of Marathi poet and writer V. V. Shirwadkar known as ‘Kusumagraj’.
  • • The celebration begin with introduction and welcome speech by Sou. Swati Toraskar librarian of the college followed by speeches by students.
  • • Chandrakant Jagtap, Kalyani Mirajkar, Neha Panchanse, ---------, Ridha Fatima of BA II and Piyush Kale, Varad Takkaliki of B.Com Part II on Marathi Din.

  • • NSS and NCC wings of college participated in the ‘Human Chain for Voters Awareness’ activity organized gently by Daily Sakal and Kolhapur District Collector Office.
  • • All the students and teachers of the college initiated the activity by standing hand in hand from Mirajkar Tikati to Bindu Chowk.
  • • At Bindu Chowk merge gathers of student was addressed by District Collector Mr. Doulat Desai.
  • • A street play was performed by students to spread awareness regarding fourth coming General Election 2019.

  • • Prof. A.B. Kawade spoke on “The seven pay for senior college teachers”.
