One day workshop began with recitation of welcome song followed by felicitation of guest and publication of magazine ' Kshitij ' in the hands of Dr. V M Patil, Principal New College, Kolhapure welcomed all the guest, participants and gave introductory speech. On this occasion Dr. P T Gaikwad, director students Development department Shivaji University Kolhapur, shri K G Patil chairman Prince Shivaji Maratha Boarding House, shri Nilesh Save cordinator cultural department Mumbai University ,Dr. Manisha Naikwadi, cordinator of workshop, Dr. Nilesh Pawar IQAC cordinator were present for the workshop.Dr. D K Gaikwad gave information on events organised and significance of Yuva Mahotsav in students career development. Shri K G Patil chairman of Prince Shivaji boarding expressed gratitude. Dr. Manisha Gaikwad thanked all the guest and participants.
Shri Nilesh Save cordinator cultural department Mumbai University was guide, friend and philosopher of the workshop. He divided worshop in two sessions. first session dealt with music session. He along with National Yuva Mahotsav Winner students presented classical gazal before students. He said commitment, sincerity, involvement and concentration is necessary for song presentation. He gave minute details of different types of song with live presentation and precautions to to be taken by Participants. He asked participants to put own creation in the song which carries higher weightage in the competition.
In the second session shri Nilesh Save sir shared information on mono-acting, skit, mime, mimicry with live video presentation before presentation with theme behind it. Mimicry artist student shown live mimicry. Miss Bhagyashree Patil of New College who was winner at national gold youth festival shared her experience in folk dance., classical dance. The programme ended with distribution of certificate to participants.
